Clouded Consciousness is a sound piece that is orbiting around the aspiration to change the world, to make it more equal and peaceful.

The art work addresses feelings of despair regarding individual’s ability to make such a change. An ongoing stress, a strong feeling of helplessness and bad conscience, which in turn can make one even more dormant. The piece is a grief over the power of consumerism and how it undermines solidarity and action. It is also a grief over all lost visions for a democratic and peaceful world.
In the art work both historical and contemporary war and conflicts are present and the work touches upon the discourse of political art.
